Siberian State Automobile and Highway University (SibADI) - is one of the leading universities in the city of Omsk, which was founded in 1930. Up to date, University combines: 7 faculties ("Road Transport", "Highway transportation facilities and bridges", "Oil-and-gas and building technology", "Economics and Management", "Information Systems in Management", Institute of Civil Engineering, Extramural faculty), system of research and educational centers, regional center of professional development, about 50 departments and 20 divisions. The University has more than 1,300 employees of different categories and 7 500 students in all, including 560 students from foreign countries.
SibADI provides training within 15 educational programs for completing bachelor’s degree, 10 programs for master’s degree and 6 postgraduate programs.
The University disposes of developed material and technical base, laboratory facilities, modern computer technology and considerable library of over 700,000 volumes. Educational process of the academy combines traditions of classic engineering education and innovations connected with the current requirements to the specialist.
The University is actively involved in the processes of technological and personnel modernization of transport and road-building industries of the Russian Federation. The active scientific schools of the University participate in the implementation of a wide range of federal, regional and municipal programs of sectoral orientation.
SibADI places a top priority on integration into the international academic area. It focuses on participation in SCO and EU large-scale education projects, motivating overseas lecturers and students, encouraging cooperation with foreign universities, in particular those in Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Germany, Poland, South Korea as well as cooperation with international organizations and companies.
